What We Believe
What the Bible says.

Everything we do in our church is centered around the Bible, God’s Word. This is our standard and the foundation upon which we base our faith . (2 Tim. 3:16 - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness,) Consequently, the following are basic to our faith as Christians:

1. God is our Creator – (Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground." )

2. Jesus is God’s Son (John 1:34 - I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God." ) who died for the forgiveness of sin, was buried , and raised on the third day according to the scriptures. (Romans 5:8-10 - 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! 10For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!); (I Cor. 15:3-6 - 3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance [a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5and that he appeared to Peter, [b] and then to the Twelve. 6After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep)

3. Salvation comes through grace and faith and the Son of God. (Acts 1:8 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.")

4. Eternal life to all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.)
